How to Get Involved in Sustainability

The School encourages its students to get involved on campus and in the community by joining one (or more) of the 500+ clubs and student organizations at ASU. Participating in a club at ASU offers students the opportunity to meet new people, gain leadership experience, participate in community service, and enhance their overall experience at ASU. Engagement Opportunities

Visit our Student Center

Renovated with a SIRF grant, the Sustainability Student Center is located in the lower level of the Matthews Center. This center provides a meeting area for student organizations, workshops and presentations, or it can be a quiet place to study between classes. The center is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The SORC provides support and resources to officially established clubs, including:
  • Workshops: topics include event planning, fundraising and money management, leadership, and professional development
  • Free copies and posters
  • Equipment rental
  • Mailboxes
  • Funding options
  • University facility use
  • Use of outdoor lawn/mall spaces
  • Website and email accounts
  • Ability to reserve the SOS Student Center
