Sheryl joined Arizona State University in February 2017 after four years as an academic advisor with the California State University system in Los Angeles. At ASU, she worked as an advisor in the Department of Psychology and the Natural Sciences Division of The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences before transitioning to the School of Sustainability in 2020. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, and her master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in school counseling from the University of Southern California. Sheryl has worked with students at all grade levels from kindergarten through university and enjoys being a source of support for students as they navigate the educational system.
