Glenda is Program Manager, Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership in the School of Sustainability, and is responsible for managing all program activities related to the successful launch and execution of the Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership, the Global Sustainability Studies Program and the Walton Sustainability Fellowship Program. In addition, she collaborates with internal and external clients to design and deliver practical and effective sustainability education and training programs connecting client stakeholders with the knowledge and delivery capabilities of Arizona State University and its global network of partners.

The Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership and its fully-online counterpart program has 190 students. The Global Sustainability Studies Programs and international immersive learning programs have placed more than 600 students immersive courses in 23 different countries to study sustainability in a global context, including 106 students from international partner universities. The Sustainability Fellowship program allows high level practitioners and visiting scholars from various sectors to work with the ASU community to explore new approaches to economic, social and environmental challenges. This program has engaged 33 fellows, including six post-doctoral fellows.

In partnership with ASU faculty and leaders, Glenda led a collaboration with Starbucks to design, develop and implement a company-wide sustainability training program to be offered to all Starbucks employees worldwide. Known as The Greener Apron, the program launched with a small-scale pilot in 2016 and has since launched globally with 6,858 active users to date. Over 1,000 users have completed the training and close to 600 users have received a certificate of completion.

Prior to joining the Institute, Glenda was director of international academic affairs for Apollo Global, Inc., an education network with presence in five different countries. She is a native Spanish speaker with some Portuguese background.
