Academic units across Arizona State University offer a wide variety of courses that are focused on sustainability or include the topic of sustainability in some way.

As part of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, the university compiles a list of sustainability focused and inclusive courses. Below is the most current list. This list was last comprehensively updated in 2020 using course schedule data from Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019. Efforts were made to reach out to units and faculty. However, in many instances decisions as to whether a course was focused on sustainability or included sustainability was based on the course title and description.
This list is not updated each semester, but we will make updates as we receive them. If you are a course instructor and have any updates to this list, please email them to [email protected] with the course subject, number, title, and a brief description of how sustainability is addressed in the course.
