Work Space
Graduate students in the School of Sustainability have 24-hour access to a graduate work space, a synthesis center, and a computer lab which includes:

  • Computers
  • Printers
  • Lockers
  • Break/Kitchen Area
  • Collaboration Space
They can also reserve conference rooms or the collaborative room for meetings and/or work space through the School of Sustainability Academic Advising Center.

Communication Tools
Students also have access to an internal Web site through Blackboard called "SOS Graduate Student Community", which provides helpful information about their program and lists a number of academic and extracurricular opportunities. In order to access the site, students need to log in to Blackboard through myASU using their ASURITE ID and password.

There are also two listservs for graduate students within the School of Sustainability. One helps to disseminate important information from the School, staff, and students about programs, courses, events, and requirements. The other is voluntary and is meant to be an informal method of communication between graduate students. More information about these listservs can be found on the SOS Graduate Student Community Blackboard site.

Travel Funding
Sustainability graduate students can also apply for travel funding for research related to their thesis or dissertation and for sustainability-related conferences and other professional development opportunities. Additional information can be found on the SOS Graduate Student Community Blackboard site.
