The School provides a writing tutor, Kathryn Kyle, to help graduate students communicate accurately, clearly, and persuasively. The service is instructional, not editorial.

The tutor can help you:

• Use English correctly
• Communicate information and ideas clearly
• Structure a paper effectively
• Make a convincing argument

To meet with the tutor, you will need to make an appointment at least twenty-four hours in advance.

• Appointments are available:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Thursday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

  • Attach a copy of the work with which you want help
• Requests for an appointment are answered Monday-Friday, but not evenings or weekends.
