Spend Your Lunch Hour Saving the Planet

The City of Tempe's Green Business Expo celebrates the green products, services, and research in the community. It is a prelude to Earth Day and to the city's Zero Waste Day happening later in the month.

This lunchtime event will happen at Sixth Street Park, just south of Tempe City Hall, 31 E. Fifth St., on April 11 from 11- 1 p.m. There's no cost to Tempe businesses to to attend.

Sustainability is a high priority for the City of Tempe. Tempe will showcase its green programs, such as the Tempe Grease Cooperative for restaurants, compost bins for residents, multifamily housing recycling banks and more.
